Just Eat customers can now order McDonald’s for delivery to their door

Just Eat has confirmed that the McDelivery service from McDonald's will be available to order on the Just Eat app from November 11.

This phased roll-out will see participating McDonald’s restaurants available on the Just Eat platform from 11am tomorrow with every breakfast, lunch and dinner option available to purchase.

To begin with, customers will be able to order from the McDonald's branches in Dublin 1 (O’Connell Street region), Dublin 15 (Blanchardstown), Dublin 6 (Rathmines), Dublin 5 (Coolock), Cork City, Limerick City and Galway City,

However, there are plans to make this service available by November 25 in 49 McDonald's locations right across Ireland including Waterford and Louth.

Just Eat also confirmed they've expanded their courier network in anticipation of the growing demand for takeaway deliver. This decision was also made to support their other restaurant partners who have seen an increase in delivery orders due to the climate of COVID.

Speaking about the latest addition, Amanda Roche-Kelly, Managing Director of Just Eat Ireland said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our partnership with McDonald’s and making McDelivery available to our Just Eat customers right across Ireland.

“Significantly expanding the delivery areas for McDonald’s lovers nationwide, as the traditional sit-in McDonald’s restaurants remain closed, this partnership will also serve up a sense of normality in our customers' routines, despite all the change and worry outside people’s doors at the moment."

Alistair Reid, McDonald’s Director of Operations for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Just Eat Ireland, which means that our McDelivery service is now available to more people across the country than ever before.

“This expanded offering ensures that your favourite meal is only ever a few clicks away. In an ever-changing retail and hospitality environment, we are always looking for opportunities to improve and enhance the service experience for our customers. This exciting collaboration with Just Eat Ireland is the perfect way to do just that.”
