Jurgen Klopp has promised to fight to the death for every trophy available this season after dismissing the idea that he prioritises different competitions.
Liverpool face Arsenal tonight in the Carabao Cup in the biggest clash of the round.
It comes just days after the Reds trounced the Gunners 3-1 in the Premier League.
The Carabao Cup has usually been an opportunity for Klopp to rotate his squad.
But the German has insisted that he does not see it as a weaker competition and has admitted the toughest part of management at Anfield.
He said: “It is not a case of treating certain competitions as priorities over others.
"It’s about managing the situation, the circumstances and the squad.
"I have over 20 players for each match who, in my opinion, are good enough and have earned the right to play.
"But the rules mean I can only pick 11 to start each time.
"This is the hardest part of management when you are blessed to have such an incredible group of players."
Liverpool won the Premier League for the first time in their history last season and are looking to retain their crown.
The year before, they landed the Champions League but their record in the Carabao Cup has been poor.
However, Klopp insisted that he has every intention of winning the tournament.
He added: “Pep Lijnders spoke at the press conference ahead of the Lincoln City game.
"When a question hinted it would be impossible to win the Carabao Cup if we tried again for the Premier League and Champions League, he spoke for all of us at LFC when he said, ‘We will try.’
"And that’s the truth. We will try and give everything while trying.
"Can we promise success? No! Can we make success happen by simply saying something about it? No!
