The Falcons have not gotten off to a great start in 2019, losing two of their first three games and looking wildly inconsistent. One thing you can always count on though is their star wide receiver Julio Jones coming through. Despite a frustrating loss to the Colts on Sunday, Jones had another outstanding performance. According to Pro Football Focus, his 91.7 grade was the highest of any Atlanta offensive player.
For the season, Jones has 19 catches for 265 yards and four touchdowns, which ties him for the NFL lead. He’s clearly earning that big extension he signed a few weeks ago.
It’s going to take more than just a vintage season from Julio Jones for the Falcons to get to the playoffs, though.
