Julia Roberts teases sequel for classic 90s film

Julia Roberts has confirmed that discussions are underway for a sequel to her 1997 film, My Best Friend’s Wedding.
The 57-year-old actor stated, "They’re talking to me," when asked about reports of a follow-up during an interview.
Co-star Dermot Mulroney had previously hinted at "talk of a sequel" in July, though he admitted to knowing little about it.
Reports indicate that filmmaker Celine Song, known for Past Lives, is set to write the screenplay for the potential sequel.
Luca Guadagnino, director of Roberts' upcoming film After the Hunt, expressed keen interest in directing the follow-up.
