Jota in hilarious Celtic 'night out' agreement as Hoops stars face bizarre Saint Valentine’s Day fan questions

Celtic star Jota has agreed to go dancing on a 'wee night up town' alongside Joe Hart being asked to 'go in the buff' as Hoops stars were bombarded with a series of funny tweets for Valentine’s Day.

With Ange Postecoglou's side having lost just once domestically all season, leading the Scottish Premiership title race by nine points and being in an extremely strong position to complete a famous treble, it is no surprise that Celtic fans have a lot of adoration for their players at this moment in time.

With the Hoops' social media team aiming to increase the camaraderie between players and fanbase, stars such as Jota, Hart, Aaron Mooy, Matt O'Riley and Reo Hatate were sent hilarious tweets from fans, with Celtic telling their faithful supporters to send in suggestions via the hashtag '#CelticLoveTweets'. And whilst Jota received an invitation for a dance in Glasgow city centre, Hart was asked some admittedly odd questions.

Jota's requests were relatively normal, with one fan saying: "To Jota, my fiancé Holly wants to have dinner with you, so if you are keen I will foot the bill, or you can just say hello to her and it will make her valentines better and mine cheaper." The Portugal star reacted graciously, saying: "That's lovely from Craig! Cheers."

Another request was sent to the silky winger, with another fan asking: "Jota, do you want to go a wee night ae the dancing up town?" And after showcasing his dancing talents via his goal celebrations this season, the former Benfica star did not want to stop there, replying: "Yeah definitely, I would like to have some wee moves and stuff...".

However, Hart's questions were a little more odd. In reference to his famous appearance in adverts for shampoo retailer 'Head and Shoulders', one fan opened up on how he utilises the product, saying: "Joe Hart, when I apply 'Head and Shoulders' to my barnet in the shower, I close my eyes and think I am you and starting diving about the bath tipping bars of soap round the posts. Joem I love you with all my Hart."

The Englishman was left stunned, but agreed it might have to become part of his routine, answering: "Shaun, what a feeling mate. Get the Head and Shoulders on you first and foremost, dandruff free which is always a good start to the day. Who doesn't like diving round tipping pieces of soap round the post? Sounds like you start your day really well mate. I might have to start doing that myself."

The bizarre Hart requests didn't stop there. One fan asked his postman to work his magic by bringing him Joe Hart in the post - seemingly with no clothes on. It read: "Postie postie, do your stuff, bring me Joe Hart in the buff." The Englishman was left flummoxed. "I don't even know what to say about that. I can't see it happening but you never know."

Finally, Aaron Mooy's superb form of late has not gone unnoticed, it seems. The Aussie has been Celtic's star player since the turn of the year, and that led to one fan making a cheeky request. "Celtic are green, roses are red, please let me kiss, Mooy's beautiful bald head." The Aussie coyly replied: "Thanks mate, appreciate it!".
