Jordan Henderson makes Mohamed Salah joke after Man United demolition

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has joked that Mohamed Salah is "not bad" after yet another masterful performance from the Egyptian forward.

Salah scored a brilliant hat-trick against Manchester United on Sunday, as the Reds demolished their rivals 5-0 at Old Trafford.

The Liverpool star capitalised on some shocking defending from the hosts to net Liverpool 's third, fourth and fifth goals of a memorable day, having earlier set up Naby Keita for the opener. Diogo Jota netted the other goal for Jurgen Klopp's rampant outfit.

For Salah it's now 10 games in a row that he's scored and he is regarded by many to be the best footballer on the planet at the moment.

At full time, Henderson was speaking to beIN Sports and was asked about Salah's ridiculous goalscoring form.

"Not bad, is he?" said Henderson of his team-mate. "I think everybody can see how well he is playing at the minute - not at the minute, for long periods of time at this football club. He's been sensational and today was no different.

"So hopefully he can continue that form until the rest of the season."

Salah's treble on Sunday takes him well clear of Jamie Vardy in the race for the Golden Boot, with the Reds star moving on to 10 league goals for the season already, three ahead of the Foxes forward. He also has five assists.

Liverpool are now just one point back on Premier League leaders Chelsea and their thrashing of United has left the Manchester outfit eight points off the pace with nine games played.
