16 & Pregnant star Jordan Cashmyer has died aged just 26.
The MTV reality star's death has been referred to the medical examiner but no cause or manner of death was provided, TMZ reports.
Her father Dennis M. Cashmyer Jr. confirmed his daughter's tragic death in a post on Facebook this morning.
The heartbreaking post, shared by Dennis online, read: "Last night I received a call no parent ever wants.
"My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER."
He added: "Please keep my family in your thoughts prayers as we navigate through this terrible tragedy. Please understand and respect our privacy at this time. We are surrounded by the love and support of our children, grand daughter Lyla and family members."
Fans of the show will remember Jordan and her boyfriend, Derek Taylor and daughter Evie from 2014. They were homeless as Jordan was about to give birth.
Her family didn't approve of the relationship, and her and Derek eventually broke up. It was then that Jordan's dad and stepmom stepped in and temporarily shared guardianship with him.
Jordan joined the show as a teenager from Baltimore Maryland, who was expecting Derek's baby. Her parents had asked her to leave the house after she fell pregnant and refused to split from the father of the baby.
In the show, Derek appeared to be uninterested in getting a job and the pair were stuck with nowhere to go, as they had no local relatives able to take them in.
It was on March 7, 2014 that Jordan welcomed their daughter Genevieve Shae Taylor and following the birth, Derek's continued lack of wanting to work saw the pair end up splitting up over their financial struggles and they went their separate ways.
For some time, Jordan's father and stepmother had custody of Genevieve with Derek. However, the couple then moved to Derek's mother's house and it was then that Jordan signed over temporary custody to his mother.
