Jonathan Allen should see individual work Wednesday

The Washington Redskins had some problems without Jonathan Allen in Week 2 during the 31-21 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

With Allen out of the lineup, those Cowboys drummed up 474 yards of total offense on more than 33 minutes of possession, averaging 6.3 yards per carry in the process.

Luckily for the Redskins, head coach Jay Gruden has said Allen should be getting back into the swing of things during Wednesday’s practice, as seen above via Kareem Copeland of the Washington Post.

Allen originally suffered a sprained knee during Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles, so individual drills heading into Week 3 will give the team an idea of whether he will be good to go.

The Redskins could certainly use him in what could be a defensive battle in Week 3 against the Chicago Bears.
