Johnston Carmichael names new M&A director

M&A specialist Eliza Bellamy has joined accountant and business adviser Johnston Carmichael as a director at its Aberdeen office.

Bellamy, moves from AAB after more than 11 years at its office in the city, having previously worked for Wood PLC and KPMG.

She has 15 years’ of mergers and acquisitions experience, much if it in the international oil and gas sector.

Her work has included project management of disposals from business readiness to successful exit, financial due diligence assignments, identification of acquisition opportunities and succession planning.

In her new role, Bellamy will mentor and work with SME owners to create valuable and marketable businesses and achieve personal objectives.

She said: “ Johnston Carmichael ’s corporate finance team is one of the most respected in the country and one that continues to go from strength-to-strength. I look forward to working with existing SMEs and new clients across many industry sectors to assist them to achieve their strategic objectives.”

In February, Johnston Carmichael added Campbell Cummings to its corporate finance team as an M&A director and Ewen Fleming as a financial services partner in March.
