- Cameron noted that while his father's short-term memory is affected, his long-term memory of his illustrious football career remains remarkably clear.
- Toshack scored 96 goals for Liverpool, winning three league titles, two UEFA Cups, and the European Cup during his seven-year spell.
- He also managed Wales twice and is the only Welshman to have managed Real Madrid, leading them to a La Liga title in 1990.
