John Terry aims dig at Liverpool with Fernando Torres reply after joining Twitter

Former Chelsea captain John Terry couldn't resist a dig at Liverpool after launching his Twitter profile.

Terry announced his arrival on Twitter this weekend and has quickly aimed digs at Manchester United and other rival football supporters on the platform.

Indeed, that also included Liverpool with Terry replying unprompted to a video on Fernando Torres scoring twice against Chelsea on this day in 2010.

Torres enjoyed an excellent record against the Londoners, scoring seven times against the club he'd later join in a £50m deal in January 2011.

Terry admitted that Torres gave him nightmares but couldn't resist reminding the six-time European Cup winners who lifted the Premier League in 2010.

He tweeted: "Absolute nightmare to play against. 2010 was that the same year we won the league."
