John Souttar Rangers injury fear as new Ibrox signing ruled out of Scotland match with fitness concern

New Rangers signing John Souttar has been ruled out of Scotland's Nations League match against Armenia due to injury.

The centre-back has made his move to Ibrox official after signing a pre-contract to join Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men from Hearts in January.

Souttar has had a history of injury problems but has admirably fought back from multiple Achilles injuries to become a national team regular and marquee Light Blues signing.

But he's not fit enough to feature for head coach Steve Clarke in their latest Nations League test away at Armenia. Captain Andy Robertson and fellow centre-back Scott McKenna also miss out.
