The Cincinnati Bengals might have lost much more than a game in their Monday Night Football defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
En route to 0-4 via the 27-3 loss, wideout John Ross suffered a shoulder injury and went to the blue tent on the sidelines before getting labeled as questionable and heading to the locker room.
As Fox 19’s Joe Danneman reported above, Ross was seen after the game with his arm in a sling.
Ross got thrown to the ground and stayed down when the injury occurred. This is a red flag given his injury history, which included the torn labrum in 2017.
While he only had three catches for 36 yards in the loss, Ross had been putting together the best year of his career with 13 catches for 292 yards and three scores over the first three games.
