John Beaton will take charge of the Premier Sports Cup final later this month.
The referee will be the man in the middle on December 19 when the action kicks off between Hibs and Celtic.
Graeme Stewart and Calum Spence will run the lines while Greg Aitken as been appointment as fourth official.
Jack Ross's Hibs won 3-1 in their semi-final against Rangers to book their spot while Celts edged out St Johnstone.
The SFA whistler was recently in charge for Hibs' clash against Rangers at home, with Beaton awarding a late penalty to the Gers after Ryan Porteous took down Ryan Kent inside the area.
It will be Beaton's first match in charge of a Celtic match since August when they faced off against Hearts.
His last big match as ref in a Celtic match was the 2020 Scottish Cup final which was delayed.
The Hoops went on to win on penalties.
