Joe Swash reveals Stacey Solomon's son has already chosen their baby name

Joe Swash has revealed that Stacey Solomon’s son has chosen a name of their unborn baby but insists he can’t give the game away.

The couple, who announced they are expecting their first child together earlier this year, recently found out the sex of their unborn child but admitted they are keeping it a family secret.

And Swash has now revealed that the baby already has a name, confessing that he “didn’t have a choice” in what his newborn will be called -because one of Solomon’s boys has already picked the moniker.

"We have chosen a name for our baby. It wasn't my choice,” he told The Sun. “There is no point in fighting it. Don't stress and you'll make yourself a lot happier.

“I do like the name. One of her kids chose it. I can't say more. If I give away what we are having I will have to sleep at my mums.”

Former EastEnders actor Swash also confessed that they were “supposed to have a gender reveal party” but guests were going to have to “act their a**** off” after he told everyone what they’re having.

Earlier this week, Solomon revealed that the couple had found out the sex of their unborn child to “get prepared” for the little one’s arrival.

“We found out, we’re really impatient!” Solomon told OK! Online. “We’re not going to tell anyone because it’s not important, but we are excited.”

The Loose Women panellist added that it was “nice to have something only they and the kids knew”.

But her pal Coleen Nolan may have let the gender slip during an interview with Hello! after repeatedly referring to the unborn child with female pronouns.

“She... That child is going to have so many aunties she won't know what to do with herself,” said Nolan.

Solomon, 29, and Swash, 37, are already parents to Solomon’s sons 11-year-old Zachary and Leighton, six. Swash has 11-year-old Harry from a previous relationship.
