  • McGregor lost an appeal last year after a civil jury found him liable for assault in a case where a woman accused him of "brutally raping and battering" her in a Dublin hotel in December 2018. McGregor had told the court he had consensual sex with the woman.
  • The jury awarded the woman 248,603 euros in damages, and McGregor was ordered to pay approximately 1.3 million euros in legal costs, though he continues to deny all allegations.
  • McGregor is scheduled to return to the UFC on 11 July to fight Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas, marking his first fight in five years after a broken leg in 2021 and a backdated ban for missed drug tests.
