Jets vs. Patriots: Game info, where to watch, notes

The New York Jets will look to build on their win over the Dallas Cowboys when the New England Patriots come to town on Monday night.

In the first matchup between these two teams, the Patriots had their way with the Jets, beating them 30-14. However, both Sam Darnold and C.J. Mosley were absent from that game. Both players should be on the field together for the first time since Week 1.

While the Jets will have the quarterback of the offense and the quarterback of the defense playing, they are still riddled with injuries. The Jets will likely be without five starters in Henry Anderson (shoulder), Kelechi Osemele (shoulder), Kelvin Beachum (ankle), Chris Herndon (hamstring) and Neville Hewitt (neck/knee). The Jets also have eight players who are questionable, but most if not all of them are expected to play.

If the Jets are going to shock the world by taking down the Patriots, they’ll have to play a complete football game. Last week against the Cowboys, the Jets offense and defense came out firing, but then started to play conservative and allowed the Cowboys back in the game. That can’t happen against the Patriots. They need to be aggressive at all times.

As for the Patriots, they are well-rested after playing on Thursday night in Week 6. But they’ll be without some key pieces, including Josh Gordon and Rex Burkhead.
