Jets injury report: C.J. Mosley, Quinnen Williams ruled out vs. Browns

The Jets will be without their defensive leader on Monday night against the Browns.

Star linebacker C.J. Mosley has been ruled out for Monday’s game as he continues to deal with a groin injury that he suffered in Week 1. Mosley felt confident that he was going to be able to give it a go, but was unable to practice this week. Meanwhile, rookie defensive tackle Quinnen Williams will also be out with an ankle sprain that he got in Week 1 as well. Quarterback Sam Darnold will also be inactive as he tries to recover from mono.

As for Le’Veon Bell, he is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, but he has already said that he will be playing on Monday. Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was not able to practice on Saturday but is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Kelvin Beachum (ankle), Brian Winters (shoulder), Braxton Berrios (hamstring), Steve McLendon (hip) and Alex Lewis (undisclosed) are all questionable as well.

For the Browns, Damarious Randall (hand/concussion), Adarius Taylor (ankle), Dontrell Hillard (concussion) and Kendall Lamm (knee) are all out. Rashard Higgins (knee), Joel Bitonio (abdomen), Chris Smith (not injury related) and Drew Stanton (knee) are all questionable.
