Jess Glynne to play Forest Live gig at Westonbirt Arboretum

A pop star with a raft of chart-topping hits to her name has been announced to play a woodland gig in Gloucestershire next summer.

Jess Glynne has been revealed as the latest act to perform as part of Forest Live, the summer concert series presented by Forestry England.

Through her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, which has had 1.2 million album sales and counting, and platinum selling follow-up Always in Between, Glynne has become established as one of the most successful acts of the past decade.

She holds the record for the most number one singles scored by a British female solo artist with seven.

Whether performing solo or in collaboration with another artist, her unique powerhouse vocals have delivered a succession of monster hits crossing the genres of pop, soul, R&B and house.

The 31-year-old is currently working on material for her third album and will be releasing a festive single via Amazon Music, a cover of Donny Hathaway’s This Christmas.

And on top of that, Glynne will perform at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire along with special guests on Sunday, June 13.

Tickets go on on sale from 9am Friday, November 27 on See Tickets, Ticketmaster and Forestry England's website.

Forest Live is a major outdoor live music series that introduces forests to new audiences in unique, natural woodland arenas around the country.

More than 1.9 million people have attended a Forest Live gig in the last 20 years, enjoying great music and supporting the nation’s forests when buying a ticket.

Going to a concert helps Forestry England create beautiful places for people to enjoy, run important conservation projects and keep growing trees.

Every year they plant some eight million trees sustainably, caring for the nation’s 1,500 woods and forests and welcoming 230 million visits annually.

Other acts lined up to perform as part of Forest Live 2021 include Madness, Rag'n'Bone Man and Keane.
