Jeremy Corbyn was asked about the most romantic thing he had ever done - but seemed strangely stumped by the question.
The Labour leader is married to Laura Alvaraz, his third wife, who tends to keep a low profile but does follow him on the campaign trail.
He divorced his first wife Jane Chapman in 1979 before embarking on a year-long affair with now Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott .
He went on to marry Chilean exile Claudia Bracchitta in 1987, with whom he had three children but the pair separated and finally divorced in 1999.
Mr Corbyn then met his current wife Laura when she came to London from her native Mexico to support her sister.

After conducting a long-distance relationship when she returned home, the pair married in 2013.
in and he was romantically linked to Shadow Home Secretary Diane Abbott.
But despite being married three times, Mr Corbyn, by his own admission, is not a romantic.
Asked by ITV's Julie Etchingham, he replied: “Wow. That's a hard one. Nobody ever thinks of me as romantic.”
The interviewer pressed him further saying: “So there is no romance that Jeremy Corbyn could offer to…What is the most romantic sort of wild and reckless thing you’ve ever done?”

To which a prudish Mr Corbyn replied: “You can't ask that question on television.”
But Ms Etchingham, who elicited the reply "running through a field of wheat" when she asked Theresa May what was the naughtiest thing the former PM has ever done, replied: “Yes I can.”
Eventually Mr Corbyn gave a rather low key if quite sweet response about Laura.
He said: When you’re with somebody, you have a great time together, and we've had some wonderful holidays together, and we enjoy that.”
During the sit down chat the Labour leader didn't sound particularly convincing when he he was asked if he watched the Queen's Christmas message.

Mr Corbyn replied: "It's on the morning, usually we have it on" but the presenter corrected him saying: “It’s not on in the morning. It’s at three o’clock in the afternoon.
The Labour leader eventually admitted : “We don't watch television very much on Christmas Day.”
Pushed by the ITV host Mr Corbyn revealed he actually spent Christmas day with the family and friends as well as visiting a local homeless shelter.
He said: "I enjoy the presence of my family and friends around Christmas.
"Obviously, like everybody else does. And, I also visit the homeless shelter, either on Christmas Day, or the day before, to talk to, and listen to people's lives, about how they could be made better with a government that cared for them.”

During the interview Julie Etchingham also pressed the Labour leader on his contribution to doing the cleaning and other household tasks at home in Islington.
She said: “And your wife, who we occasionally see, she said you’re not very good at housework.”
Mr Corbyn replied: “I am good at putting the garbage out, I am good at putting the recycling out at... Good at that.”
She replied: “Ha ha you’re good at putting the recycling out... Even that has got the message firmly nailed down.”
He added: “I'm also the head manager of the whole composting arrangements.”
