Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at a "moaning" villager who said that they were late for a doctor's appointment due to traffic queues surrounding his Diddly Squat farm shop.
It comes after the 61-year-old announced that the shop at his farm in rural Oxfordshire - which features on his show Clarkson's Farm - would be closed for two months.
The news - which was shared last month - prompted fans of the Amazon Prime Video series to visit the shop on New Year's Eve, ahead of its temporary closure from this month.
The increased interest is understood to have led to traffic queues in the area, which are said to have frustrated villagers in the local community.
The Grand Tour star recently responded to one resident's complaint after they claimed to the Oxford Mail that they were 20 minutes late to a doctor's appointment as a result.
Responding to the article on Twitter, Clarkson wrote: "There are three roads from Chadlington to the A361. She could have used one of the other two instead of moaning."
The resident, who was quoted anonymously, had called the situation "complete chaos." They said: "I was 20 minutes late for a doctor's appointment due to queues."
The local added: "They have parking management on the entrance of Clarkson's farm who are instructing cars to park on the road. The cars parked to go on for more than a mile."
Further describing it as "ridiculous," they said it took half an hour to get up the road, suggesting that a ten-minute round trip would take more than an hour in such circumstances.
The planned closure of the Diddly Squat store in January and February is understood to be to allow building work. It's been reported this relates to roof renovations on site.

The shop's account on Instagram is said to have recently commented on the closure, writing: "Council insisted we change the roof. Closed for building work."
Clarkson's Farm debuted on Amazon Prime Video last year, with its first series consisting of eight episodes. It follows Clarkson and his team as they run the farm in Oxfordshire.
It was previously announced by the streaming platform that the show would return for a second series.
