Jeremy Clarkson introduces newest family member to Diddly Squat Farm

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the latest addition to his Diddly Squat farm after his beloved dog gave birth to puppies.

The former Top Gear host shared a picture on his Instagram holding the tiny Labrador puppy, named Margarey, one of 11 puppies born in a recent litter at the farm.

The puppy is believed to be just around six weeks old after Clarkson’s dog Arya gave birth on July 27, coinciding with the Lionesses winning a historic second Euros title.

At the time, the TV personality shared a clip of Arya nursing the newborn puppies. “Now I know you have all been enjoying the football,” Clarkson said in a video clip. “But I have been rather busy if I am honest. Look what Arya has done”.

The latest adorable post comes just days after Clarkson’s Farm won best factual entertainment show at the National Television Awards.

Speaking in the winner’s room, he said he was “genuinely thrilled” by the victory.

He told the room: “I’d like to think that this is for farming because it demonstrates that people who watch the show go, ‘bloody hell farming’s difficult’, and have voted for this show.”

The Diddley Squat farm has attracted millions of fans worldwide since Clarkson teamed up with Amazon in 2021.

But there have been some challenging moments this summer on the farm, with the presenter revealing that it had been hit by a tuberculosis outbreak.

Announcing the devastating news days after the litter of puppies were born, Clarkson posted on X, formerly known as Twitter: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated."

The animal that tested positive for bovine TB, an infectious disease of cattle, was believed to be a cow pregnant with twin calves.

TB is caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium bovis, which can infect mammals including deer, goats and pigs, as well as cats, dogs.
