Jenny Dixon admitted she catches herself referring to her hubby as her boyfriend because she has been so busy since their summer wedding.
The former Fair City star, who married Limerick TD Tom Neville in July joked that the pair sometimes forget that they got married due to their hectic schedules.
Opening up about life as a newlywed, Jenny who is set to playing The Fairy Godmother in the The Cheerios Panto Cinderella told The Social Media diary: “It kind of feels nice because you have got more time for the interiors and decorating and getting the place cosier for Christmas and then also there is the panto stuff which is going on at the same time so it has kind of been like going from one big ball gown to the other.”
The actress added: “But sometimes we forgot though we got married because it has just been such a blur.
“I think I called him my boyfriend the other day I haven’t got used to saying the husband word so I haven’t experienced the come down.
“I think there are a lot of things to look forward to with Christmas and we need to go on our official honeymoon and there are lots of nice things to look forward too.
“And we haven’t even finished our official photos from the wedding so I’m still back and forth getting that done and the video.
“There is so much work that goes into planning a wedding that you don’t miss that part, we threw a great party and everyone had a great night and all the tables were mixing.
“We had the Fair City table and the Dail Eireann table and the media mixing and it was just lovely.”
