Jennifer Lawrence's new role will see her seduce a 19-year-old boy in No Hard Feelings

Jennifer Lawrence's new role sees her character's seductive skills put to the test in all-out comedy No Hard Feelings.

The Oscar winning screen star, 32, appears as a cash-strapped teen and recently 'car less' Uber driver who takes a job seducing a seemingly 'undateable' teen — by his concerned parents before he heads to college — in order to save the sale of her family home.

A trailer clip shows her character Maddie reciting the job ad: ""Need a car? Date our son this summer and bring him out of his shell before college in exchange we’ll give you a Buick Regal.""

The clip jumps to her interview as the boys father, actor Matthew Broderick, explains how his son 'doesn’t come out of his room, he doesn’t talk to girls, he doesn’t drink.'

Responding to the interview she is told to 'date him hard' as she later clarifies her 'brief' but also finds she's actually enlisted to have sex with the reclusive teen Percy (Andrew Barth Feldman).

Further scenes show Maddie sign up as a volunteer at a dog adoption centre to get close to Percy, throwing in the comical double entendre: “Mind if I touch your wiener?” before the camera reveals he’s holding a Dachshund wiener dog.

The movie also features the Hunger Games actress skinny dipping and performing a strip tease in a bid to unlock Percy's love interest.

Before a car chase and the cops get involved Lawrence utters the words: "This kid is unfuckable."

The movie also stars Laura Benanti as Percy’s mother, plus Natalie Morales, Hasan Minhaj, Kyle Mooney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Scott MacArthur among others.

Gene Stupnitsky, directed the Sony released movie from a script he wrote with John Phillips.

Stupnitsky's previous directorships include Good Boys and co-wrote 2011’s “Bad Teacher” and 2009’s “Year One.”

Lawrence's No Hard Feelings role is her first full comedy role since 2010’s Winter’s Bone ; with her most notable recent projects including starring in last year’s Apple TV+ drama Causeway, along with Netflix ’s Don’t Look Up.

But Lawrence fans will have to wait a little longer for the comedy to cross the pond as it has US release for June 23, with no UK date planned.
