Jennifer Aniston welcomed a new family member over the weekend and he’s already made himself right at home.
The actress shared a video of her sleeping pup to Instagram on Sunday, noting that she recently adopted him from the Los Angeles-based Wagmor Pets.
“I’d like to introduce to you the newest member of our family,” Aniston wrote. “This is (a very tired) Lord Chesterfield. He stole my heart immediately,” she said of Lord Chesterfield, who appeared to have fallen asleep while chewing a bone on his new bed.
“A HUGE thank you to @wagmorpets for the incredible work you do. Grateful you take such great care of these rescues and find them their forever homes,” Aniston added. In addition to running The Wagmor Hotel & Spa for grooming, boarding and daycare for dogs, Wagmor Pets is also a nonprofit organization that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes dogs.
Lord Chesterfield joins Aniston’s other two dogs, Sophie and Clyde, who frequently pop up on The Morning Show actress’ Instagram celebrating the Emmy Awards or helping to encourage voter registration.
During the pandemic, many celebrities have welcomed pets into their home - whether through adoption or temporarily helping shelters by fostering.
Queer Eye’s Antoni Porowski shared that he was fostering a pit beagle mix at the start of quarantine. And Kaia Gerber, Camila Mendes and Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend, Camila Morrone, have all ended up adopting their foster puppies.
