Jeff and Freddy Brazier put on united front at Tulleys Christmas Lights following week from hell

Jeff Brazier and his son Freddy were all smiles as they stepped out for a Christmas event in West Sussex on Friday, despite a turbulent week of personal revelations for the family.

The father and son attended the press night of Tulleys Christmas Lights, the annual festive attraction known for its illuminated woodland trail, light shows, themed bars and Christmas market.

Despite having been open about having their differences in the past, looked to be getting on well as they explored the site together.

They were seen chatting and posing for photos as they moved through the various installations. At one point they toasted marshmallows over an open fire pit, with Jeff joking that he had not eaten anything since breakfast as he tucked in.

Although the attraction offered foot-long hotdogs, freshly made doughnuts and other festive fayre, he declined anything more substantial.

The pair later took a ride on the lit-up 33-metre observation wheel, taking in views of the illuminated displays from its highest point.

Their relaxed outing followed a week in which both had been in the headlines. On Wednesday, TV presenter Jeff confirmed he and his wife Kate Dwyer quietly ended their marriage over the summer after realising they “couldn’t make each other happy”.

In a candid post shared on social media, he described the past year as “painful and complex” and spoke about the pressures the family has faced, including difficult periods in his relationship with Freddy.

Freddy, 21, has also been at the centre of attention following reports he has split from his pregnant on-off girlfriend, Holly Swinburn.

The model and influencer has been open about his mental-health struggles, including spending his eighteenth birthday in a psychiatric unit and expressing fears about becoming a father.

In a recent post, he wrote that his “relationships are falling apart” and reflected on thinking often about his late mother, Jade Goody, who died in 2009 following a battle with cervical cancer.

They were joined at the event by several other well-known faces, including Davina McCall, Joey Essex, former England rugby player Chris Robshaw and a number of Love Island alumni, who also took in the festive displays.
