Pop icons Jedward have slammed Noel Gallagher after the Oasis frontman said he doesn’t wear a facemask.
The Lucan twins, whose real names are John and Edward Grimes, shared an excerpt from the Manchester man’s interview on the Matt Morgan podcast.
The 53-year-old said: “It’s not a law. There’s too many f******* liberties being taken away from us now.
“I don’t give a f***. I choose not to wear one. If I get the virus it’s on me. It’s not on anyone else.
“So if every other c**** is wearing a mask, I’m not gonna catch it off them. And if I’ve got it, they’re not gonna catch it off me. So I just think it’s a p*** take.”
The former X Factor stars called him out on social media saying: “Hi @NoelGallagher, you seem really angry, maybe wear a mask.
“Lockdown and the pandemic has been intense on us all but after hearing this interview are you OK?”
And the ever witty Dublin lads even made up their own version of the popular Oasis song.
They said: “Today is gonna be the day @NoelGallagher that we're gonna throw it back to you. By now you should've somehow realised what you gotta do.
“And wear a mask because we’re gonna be the ones that save you and after all we’re your Wonderwall.
“Love Jedward and @Liamgallagher.”
