Jean Michael Seri set for Fulham exit after just one year as Galatasaray make loan bid

Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri is close to joining Galatasaray on loan after just one year at Craven Cottage.

Seri moved to Fulham from Nice last summer as part of a joint deal with defender Maxime Le Marchand, which was worth around £30m.

The 27-year-old established himself as a regular at Craven Cottage and he went on to make 32 appearances in the Premier League last season.

However, following Fulham’s relegation to the Championship, Seri is set to move on.

The Ivorian is in talks with Galatasaray over a loan move to the Turkish side and he is keen to make the switch.

Standard Sport understands negotiations are progressing well between Fulham and Galatasaray and a deal could be wrapped by the weekend.

Talks are taking place over what loan fee the Turkish side will pay and the terms of any potential option-to-buy clause.

Seri would be the second former Fulham player to join Galatasaray this summer after forward Ryan Babel signed a three-year contract with them in June.

The Dutchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Craven Cottage from Besiktas, but he was a free agent this summer
