Everton continue to be linked with a host of players, as Carlo Ancelotti takes a view on how to play the final phases of the transfer window.
The Blues have already made some significant moves as part of their midfield overhaul.
As fresh rumours about the potential new Goodison arrivals continue to surface, we have taken a look at the latest pieces of gossip to see what they could mean for the Blues.
Who?
Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Where?
The Metro claim Manchester United decided against a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin after Everton demanded £80million for him.
What?
According to the report, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be a huge admirer of the forward and felt that his aerial presence could offer the Red Devils something completely different.
The article states: “However, United were taken aback by Everton’s £80m valuation of the striker and ended their interest in Calvert-Lewin.”
Calvert-Lewin was Everton's joint top scorer last season and is clearly a key part of the project Ancelotti is building at Goodison Park.
United also paid Everton £75million plus add ons for Romelu Lukaku back in 2017 and given his potential, and fine start to the season, Calvert-Lewin is clearly priceless for the Blues.
Who?
Jean-Claire Todibo.
Where?
The ECHO understands Todibo is on a list of centre-backs Everton are considering as they look to secure a loan signing before the transfer deadline.
What?
Ancelotti has confirmed the Blues want to add a defender to the squad before the October 5 cut-off and has said the club are not eyeing any permanent deals.
So it is no surprise to see Everton's recruitment plans are now fully focused on signing a new central defender.
Who?
Nelson Semedo.
Where?
TEAMtalk claim Everton tried to 'hijack' Wolverhampton Wanderers’ move for Portuguese full-back.
What?
The report claims the Blues made a late attempt to try and scupper the Barcelona star’s move to Molineux, with the club having made an approach through intermediaries.
Everton have been linked with a host of right-backs this summer, so it is clearly a position Ancelotti has been considering his options.
