Netflix has given the green light to a new limited series featuring Jason Bateman and Jude Law as the lead actors and executive producers. Titled Black Rabbit, the drama series follows the story of two brothers portrayed by Bateman and Law. The show is created by Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, with Bateman also taking on the role of director for the first two episodes.

Black Rabbit has been in the works since October 2022 and is based on an original concept by Baylin and Susman. The series revolves around the owner of a popular New York City establishment, played by Bateman, who faces escalating threats when he reconnects with his troubled brother, portrayed by Law.

In addition to Bateman and Law, the series features a talented ensemble cast including Cleopatra Coleman, Amaka Okafor, ??p?´ Dìrísù, and Dagmara Dominczyk. This project marks Bateman's return to television following the conclusion of his acclaimed series Ozark on Netflix in 2022.

Black Rabbit is part of the overall film and TV agreement that Bateman and Michael Costigan's Aggregate Films inked with Netflix back in 2018. The production company has previously delivered successful projects for the streaming platform, such as Your Place or Mine and the upcoming Hit Man and Florida Man.

Baylin and Susman will serve as showrunners for Black Rabbit, in addition to executive producing through their Youngblood Pictures banner. The series will also be executive produced by Bateman and Costigan for Aggregate Films, Law and Ben Jackson for Riff Raff Entertainment, as well as Andrew Hinderaker, Zac Frognowski, Justin Levy, and David Bernon.
