Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has been on a roll, releasing a series of successful films. Following the release of her latest thriller, 'Mili', reports claimed that the actress has splurged on purchasing a luxurious duplex apartment in Bandra.
According to reports, the actress made the big buy with her father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi Kapoor. The house is said to be valued at over Rs 65 crore.
A celebrity photographer shared the details of the flat in a post that read, "The duplex is spread over 8,669 square, with a carpet area of 6421 sq ft, as per the documents accessed via the real-estate portal Indextap.com. The property registration was done on October 12, and Jahnvi is said to have paid Rs 3.90 crore as stamp duty and registration fees."
After the post went viral, trolls took to the comments section and claimed that Janhvi was using her dad's money to buy the pad. A social media user said, "Flop films gave her a luxurious house."
Another asked if she was Salman Khan to shell out the huge sum. The comment read, "Movies kitna karti Ho? What is earning? Salman Ho kiya????? Ya Papa ki jo mahan kaam ke paise ha usse kharida?"
Another said, "Baap Ka Paisa hai... kuch bhi kar sakti hai."
"Baap ka paisa hai...itna toh isne abhi kaamaya hi nahi," another added.
Early this July, Janhvi reportedly sold her Juhu apartment to Rajkumar Rao for Rs 44 crore.
As per a report in Money Cotrol, the actress' new pad was registered on October 12, 2022. The housing unit comes with five car parking slots, an open garden area and a swimming pool on the first floor. The report added that the star purchased the new home for Rs 1 lakh per sq ft.
