And the past two nights, the comedian has taken to the Beacon Arts venue in Greenock, with her daughter Ashley Storrie tagging along with her.

Following the success of the tour so far, fans are keen to see the show again.

Taking to Twitter to ask for more shows, one fan tweeted his thanks to Janey and Ashley asking: "If anyone knows of anyone with a spare ticket or whatever for the Glasgow show...hmu [hit me up] cause I wanna do it all over again!"

Taking about the gig one said: "What a show @JaneyGodley , near p**** myself!! Absolutely amazing!!"

"Superb gig, open, honest and also incredibly funny. Personal highlight was my twenty something daughter telling me she can make good soup" tweeted a happy third after watching the second Greenock show.

It comes as Janey recently celebrated an update to her cancer treatment.

Taking to Twitter with a photo of her grinning ear to ear with her hands in the air, she captioned the tweet: "My haemoglobin is back up and holding it’s own despite weekly chemo!".

Haemoglobin is a protein in your red blood cells that carries oxygen to your body's organs and tissues. It also transports carbon dioxide from your organs and tissues back to your lungs.

Janey Godley will perform on March 5 at the SEC Armadillo in Glasgow. Although sold out, some may go on re-sale if people can no longer make the date - you can keep an eye on tickets here.
