Fans of Celebrity Gogglebox are over the moon after telly legend Jane McDonald revealed she's signed up for the show.
Joined by her best pal Sue, the former Loose Women star, 60, will be getting comfy on the sofa to offer up her own opinions on what's on the box when the new series of the show gets filming.
Jane, who stepped in to host the National Soap Awards at the weekend after Phillip Schofield's exit from ITV, told followers on Twitter last night (Thursday) her exciting career news.
Posting a series of snaps with her announcement, she said: "I'm going to be appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox with my best friend Sue - it's going to be an absolute blast!
"We’ve shared some unforgettable moments over the years but I am really looking forward to spending time together on this wonderful show."
Jane's loyal band of followers were quick to congratulate the star. Mary Duncan said: "I'm very excited for you and Sue. Love the photos. I had a wee feeling about this one. I love Gogglebox and laugh out loud bit weird when you live on your own. Lots of love to you both." Gary Horrocks added: "Splendid". And Jack Ann said: "I love Gogglebox. After a tough week at work I can always be guaranteed the laugh out loud moments. Even though it does challenge my pelvic floor muscles. Now it will be even better with you on it. Enjoy." Sue's exciting news comes after comedian Katherine Ryan announced she's also joining the show with husband Bobby Kootstra.
