Jammu: Cloudburst triggers flash floods in Doda

Jammu: A cloudburst in Gunti forest area of Thathri belt of Doda district in J&K triggered heavy flash floods, causing damage to agricultural land, houses and vehicles on Saturday. Doda DC Vikas Sharma, however, confirmed that no loss of life or injury to anybody was reported from the area following the flash floods. "Some vehicles, link roads, especially Thathri-Phagsoo road, and a stretch of national highway suffered damage."

Doda SSP Adbul Qayoom Butt said that the cloudburst occurred at around 4 am.
