Jamie Redknapp pays sweet tribute to sons as he announces 2023 plans

Jamie Redknapp paid a sweet tribute to his three sons as he welcomed in the New Year.

Taking to Instagram, the former footballer shared a number of pictures of his beloved family. As well as celebrating the end of 2022, he also marked his kid's achievements - with Charley moving to Arizona, Beau growing and Raphael taking his first steps.

The 49-year-old also shared moments with other members of his family, including his wife Frida and his mum and dad, Sandra and Harry Redknapp. Jamie announced what we could see from him in the new year as he teased a project that he had been working on in 2022.

His New Year post in full read: "Wanted to share a few moments from 2022, from lovely family holidays with my wife, to my biggest boy Charley starting uni in Arizona. Beau getting bigger and better by the day, to Raphael taking his first steps and finally getting my knee replacement done.

"We also have a new road trip we filmed in 2022 coming soon. I hope you enjoy it! Wishing you all the best in 2023."

Friends and fans of the sports star sent him and his family well wishes for the year ahead. Comedian Tom Davis said: " Love you my G. X"

Fellow former footballer, Leon Mckenzie, said: "Happy new year to you and yours J." His wife, Frida, said: "Happy happy 2023 my [love heart emoji] x".
