Jamie Foxx reunites shocked fan with lost handbag as she gives update on actor's health

Jamie Foxx is continuing his recovery after suffering a mysterious health issue on set of his Back In Action film in April.

And the Hollywood actor, 55, stunned fans as he reunited a member of the public with her lost purse - showing he is seemingly doing a lot better. He was spotted getting out of a chauffeur-driven vehicle as he pulled off to a pedicab in downtown Chicago.

As he stepped out of the vehicle he was met with wild adulation as they quickly realised who had came to the rescue. He looked in good spirits as he opened the door wearing black gym bottoms and a black t-shirt. He also wore bright white trainers and a pair of black sunglasses. His facial hair was perfectly trimmed and his head freshly shaven.

Sharing the kind gesture online one user captioned the Instagram upload: "Mom lost her bag in Chicago today and Jamie fox (sic) found it and brought it to her and he said he feels good y'all god is good." They finished the post with a praying hands emoji.

While many fans quickly praised the action of the actor, others still were running with the bizarre theory that it is in fact his body double.

The rumours continue after first sightings of the actor were shared yesterday. He was spotted first time since he was hospitalised back in April.

The star smiled and waved at fans and even threw up a peace sign as he cruised down the Chicago River on a boat over the weekend.

A few months ago his daughter Corinne revealed her dad had suffered a "medical complication". He's thought to have later spent time in a physical rehab centre, following the health issue. There have been a number of updates about his recovery from those close to him in the months that followed, with some claiming he is "still not himself".

Discussing the actor's health, a source told People magazine this week: "He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself."

The source went on to say that those closest to him are keeping tight-lipped about his health to protect him. Those close recently told the outlet: "He has the tightest circle around him".

Among those commenting was actor pal John Boyega he said he is "doing well". However, he admitted he had been giving the star his space so he can continue his recovery.
