The father-daughter pair's chemistry on the show has been praised by Allison Wallach, FOX Entertainment’s President of Unscripted Entertainment, who described them as the heart and soul of Beat Shazam.
Jamie's return follows a health scare that led to his hospitalization in 2023. The duo temporarily stepped down from their hosting duties during this period, with Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne filling in. Corinne had previously shared a statement about her father's medical complication, assuring fans that he was on the road to recovery.
Beat Shazam features teams of two competing to identify hit songs against the clock and each other. The team with the most money banked from previous rounds gets a chance to challenge Shazam, the popular song identification app, for a shot at winning $1 million.
