James Rodriguez has been pictured leaving a Liverpool hotel as Everton look to finalise a transfer for the Real Madrid attacker.
Rodriguez, 29, arrived in England last week after Carlo Ancelotti had asked the board to contemplate a high-profile move for his services.
Ancelotti worked with the Colombian international - who was top-scorer at the 2014 World Cup - at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and an announcement of his move to Everton is expected imminently.
Rodriguez is pictured leaving the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool One after images at the weekend had shown him at the Titanic Hotel near Bramley-Moore Dock.
The forward then departs the Hilton in taxi as eagle-eyed supporters take photographs.
Everton completed the signing of Napoli midfielder Allan on Saturday before beating Preston North End 2-0 at Goodison Park later that afternoon with the Brazilian international in attendance.
