In the last film, they ran off together and began living off the grid with Bond no longer in active service.

The most recent trailer of the film hints at Swann fostering a dark secret that could potentially ruin their relationship.

The film will also see the return of villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, played by Christoph Waltz.

It appears Bond will be forced to work together with Blofeld to face off against a common enemy which will likely lead to a developed relationship between the two characters.

Another villain returning is Safin, played by Rami Malek who appears to have some connection with Swann which will be revealed when the film finally releases.

There will also be a new 00 to replace Bond after he elopes - Nomi, played by Lashana Lynch, who is regarded by Bond as a "disarming young woman."

The dynamic between Nomi and Bond is not yet clear, however, the trailer teases a teacher-student that develops between the two.

We will also get the chance to see more of Ana de Armas’ character Paloma who brings some much-needed female-dominated action to the film as she's seen single-handedly beating some goons without breaking much of a sweat.

No Time To Die will finally be unveiled at a premiere at the Royal Albert Hall on September 28 and is released in UK cinemas on September 30.
