James Blunt, Professor Green and Ravneet Gill to create limited edition dishes for Fowl restaurant

Guess what? After all these years, we finally discovered what the wise men said: book a table at experimental chicken restaurant Fowl, because singers James Blunt and Professor Green, and Junior Bake Off host Ravneet Gill will soon be designing limited edition menu items for the Fallow spin-off’s menu.

The eatery, famed for the chicken head pie which caught Snoop Dogg’s attention, is showing no signs of reaching a stalemate any time soon. Following in the footsteps of renowned chef Pierre Koffmann and Table Manners podcast co-host (and mother of Jessie Ware) Lennie Ware, over the coming months Blunt, Green and Gill will take it in turns to present diners with dishes based on their favourite ways to enjoy Britain’s most popular bird.

James Blunt will kick off the new series of collaborations, working with chefs Will Murray and Jack Croft to serve the You’re Beautiful singer’s take on fast food, aptly titled ‘Blunty’s Bucket’. Available at Fowl and the former pop star’s Chelsea pub The Fox and Pheasant from Tuesday 5 March until the end of the month, the dish will consist of fried chicken and guinea fowl in a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze, served in Fowl’s trademark quirky style.

Though specifics are yet to be announced, Green’s dish is scheduled to land on the restaurant menu in April, with Gill’s to follow in June.
