Jalen Ramsey, Lerentee McCray ruled questionable vs. Saints, Josh Oliver ruled out

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey practiced for the third consecutive day Friday and was ruled questionable for the team’s game this Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Defensive end Lerentee McCray was also ruled questionable alongside him with an oblique injury, which kept him out Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.

On the offensive end, rookie tight end Josh Oliver once again was ruled out, which means he’ll be on the sidelines for his sixth consecutive regular season game. He was limited this week as a result of a hamstring injury he sustained in the early stages of training camp, but it appears the team doctors felt his debut should wait at least one more week.

Of course, Ramsey was the biggest name to watch on the list because the All-Pro has missed two consecutive games. His addition would be a huge one with Michael Thomas coming to TIAA Bank Field Sunday. He currently leads the league in receiving with 543 yards, which could spell trouble for the Jags if they are without Ramsey.

Second-year cornerback Tre Herndon has started in Ramsey’s place in the games he’s missed. He currently has a grade of 44.8, per Pro Football Focus, which could lead to Saints mastermind Sean Payton targeting him if Ramsey can’t go.
