Jake Quickenden's crying baby son interrupts Loose Women as he runs onto set

Jake Quickenden's baby son interrupted Loose Women filming in the most adorable way possible - by running up to his dad for a cuddle.

The former X Factor star, who is currently appearing in the Footloose musical tour, appeared on the ITV show to speak about returning to work as a new dad.

Jake, 33, welcomed son Oliver with fiancé Sophie Church last year and gushed that he had changed his life.

Joining panelists Ruth Langsford, Jane Moore, Coleen Nolan and Sophie Morgan, he made a comment about his son's cries backstage.

"He's a bit noisy like his mum, he doesn't get that from me," Jake joked, before adding seriously: "He's changed my life. He's just the most amazing little boy."

Opening up about his return to the stage, Jake said that he felt he had a bit of "imposter syndrome" being involved in such a big musical.

"It was so nice to be back on stage," he said. "I feel like there's a bit imposter syndrome - I was on X Factor and I didn't do well let's be real."

Just as Coleen insisted that he stop putting himself down, Leo began crying again and was seen running towards him.

As he cuddled his son on his lap, Jake explained that the hardest thing about returning to work had been the fact that he was a new dad.

"As much as I'm very thankful I'm back on stage and in the show, I miss this little one," he said. "It's hard work, but you've got to do what you've got to do."

Jake went on to address the vile trolls who targeted his son last year.

"I argue and I let it affect my mental health," he said. "hen he was first born, the first few months were the worst."

Some cruel social media users decided to send the pair abuse about how his son looked, with one bully suggested the baby needed "Botox" and is "ugly as f***".

While another horrifically told Sophie to drown her son.

"I can't imagine a human being being that mean to a baby," Jake said. "But I'm not letting it get to me as much now."
