Jake Paul’s MVP Promotions quashes talk of Nate Diaz boxing rematch, says PFL fight offer on table

You can forget about Jake Paul and Nate Diaz throwing down inside the ring again – at least according to MVP Promotions.

Diaz’s Real Fight Inc. caused a stir over the weekend when the promotion’s Instagram account released an official-looking poster for a Dec. 15 boxing rematch. The poster included “BREAKING NEWS” across the top in all caps.

On Monday morning, Paul’s MVP Promotions took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to quash any rumors of a boxing rematch but said an MMA fight offer from the PFL is on the table for both men.

“For the record: Jake Paul will not be boxing Nate Diaz again,” MVP Promotions wrote. “Nate Diaz and Jake Paul have received an offer from PFL to rematch in MMA in the SmartCage. Jake Paul has accepted the offer.”

In August, Paul defeated Diaz by unanimous decision in a 10-round fight. He dropped the former UFC star in the fifth round, but Diaz recovered.

Since the fight, both men have continued to trash talk each other. Earlier this month, Diaz called for a boxing rematch and a trilogy in MMA. It remains to be seen what, if anything, comes to fruition.
