  • Ngannou is scheduled to fight fellow UFC veteran Philipe Lins on 16 May, at an event organised by Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions.
  • During the press conference, Paul taunted Ngannou about his previous reluctance to fight him and his boxing defeat by Anthony Joshua in 2024.
  • Ngannou, who initially claimed he did not fully understand Paul's previous offer, stated he now wants to “beat his a**” due to Paul's perceived disrespect.
  • Both Ngannou and Paul have recent boxing experience, with Ngannou having faced Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, and Paul also having lost to Joshua in December.
