Jacqueline Jossa urges fans to 'forgive someone you know is sorry' amid Dan Osborne split rumours

Jacqueline Jossa has shared an emotional Instagram post in which she opened up about going to therapy as a teenager and implored fans to “forgive someone you know is sorry.”

The former EastEnders star told followers to “put [themselves] first always” as she revealed that she was “lucky enough” to be “well looked after” during her time on the soap.

“When I started EastEnders when I was 17 years old (I am now 26) I was lucky enough to be so well looked after and give the care that come [sic] with ‘fame’ and what not,” she wrote.

“I went to therapy when I needed it and even when I didn’t feel I needed it and it turns out, it always comes in handy and doesn’t mean you’ve lost the plot. It means you are in control of your feelings and owning your stuff!

“Never be afraid to ask for help or even just go for a chat. You don’t need to be going through a terrible time to need guidance and help.

“We look after our bodies our skin, our looks… but when it comes to our brains (very important) we tend to neglect it and stuff our feelings in boxes never to be opened again. Instead of dealing and healing.”

She then advised her followers to “forgive someone you know is sorry and let it go, it will set you free.”

“Talking to a therapist, getting some counselling doesn’t mean you aren’t well,” she continued.

Her cryptic concluding remarks come after the actress was forced to dismiss speculation that her relationship with husband Dan Osborne is on the rocks, following reports that he “openly kissed” Love Island star Alexandra Cane at a bar in Manchester last month.

Jossa denied suggestions that she had taken off her wedding ring on a night out shortly after the cheating allegations broke, describing the speculation as “painfully stupid” and “a non story.”

Osborne and Cane’s representatives released a joint statement strongly denying the “kiss” reports, announcing that “absolutely nothing happened” between them.

“Dan has been friends for a while with her after working together,” they said. “They all met up with friends and enjoyed a great night out like friends do.”

Jossa and Osborne have been married since 2017 and share two daughters, four-year-old Ella and eight-month-old Mia.
