Hibs manager Jack Ross confirmed he's looking for more additions in defence and attack in the final days of the transfer window.
The Easter Road gaffer saw his team pegged back late on against Dundee to draw 2-2.
But he insists it's a sign of how far the Hibees have come that they're hurting despite earning seven points from an available nine to top the Premiership table after three games.
Ross believes more reinforcements are required however and said: "We have spoken regularly about adding to our defence and also adding something in the final third of the pitch.
"We want the depth in the squad because we want to be a top team.
"I think we were close to that last season and now we are sitting here with seven points out of nine and still feel a little frustrated."
Ross also confirmed there's nothing in recent chatter linking Kevin Nisbet to Celtic and Leigh Griffiths with a return in the other direction.
He said: "There’s nothing in it. The link comes from somebody putting out something that’s just nonsense, just flying a kite.
"It’s utter fabrication. It’s not anything we’ve discussed, it’s not something we’ve considered, or have had to think about."
