J&K: Former BJP MLA shoots himself dead in Srinagar

Srinagar: Bhartiya Janata Party leader (BJP) leader and former Independent MLA Gurez Faqir Mohammad Khan on Thursday allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself.

An official said that he was a 62-year-old who shot himself dead at his official residence in Tulsibagh.

BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur, while confirming the incident, said the former MLA has died due to suicide.
