Ivory Coast civil war survivors demand justice

Ivory Coast civil war survivors demand justice

Seven years after the deadly civil war of 2011, memories still remain fresh for many in Ivory Coast.

Fighting between the supporters of rival leaders Alassane Ouattara and Laurent Gbagbo had claimed 3,000 lives.

The survivors of torture and rape are still awaiting justice while President Ouattara allegedly seeks acquittal of his supporters for crimes against humanity.

Al Jazeera's Nicolas Haque reports from Abidjan.
