ITV This Morning in 'carnage' over screaming guest as viewers spot 'class act'

This Morning viewers watched as the show quickly turned into 'carnage' with Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters at the helm. The ITV daytime favourite was back on air on Monday (August 15) as a new hosting duo kickstarted the week.

It's not the first time Rochelle, 33, and Andi, 52, have hosted the show having first taken the reigns together back in September. And things got off to an enthusiastic start as the pair tried to bring the 'energy' to the first day of the week, getting the crew to 'whoop' and cheer.

After the latest This Morning's View segment, Rochelle and Andi welcomed their first guests onto the sofa. They were joined by Jenny Kell and her two young sons as she is a Viking re-creator and Anglo-Saxon indentured wet nurse and the family spends their weekends 'living like Vikings'.

"For most people, dressing up and acting out battles from hundreds of years ago whilst surviving on a forage diet wouldn't feature too highly on their weekend plans," Rochelle began. Andi then added: "However, for Jenny Kell and her family, there's nothing they'd rather do. She spends her spare time living as a wet nurse from the Viking period and camping alongside other historical reenactors."

"How did it all start?" Rochelle asked as Jenny replied: "This is all my husband's fault." As the hosts laughed and Rochelle said: "He's not here to defend himself," Jenny added: "He'd agree... it's party his fault." She went on: "I had come across reenactment at university but my husband went to university at St Andrew's and he was part of a group we're now in, the national group.

She explained how they then moved to Cumbria and were told about a local group who they got in touch with and "the rest is history," Jenny said. But as she spoke, one of her boys got a bit unsettled leading to both Rochelle and Andi saying 'don't worry about it' as he rolled around the sofa.

However, as the hosts continued to interview her, her son Tom caused chaos by loudly yelling "boo". The TV hosts attempted to get on board and tried to play peek-a-boo with the child - but it didn't exactly go to plan as Tom just got louder and Andi was heard joking: "All my life, 'Id like to be like Tom on telly!"

Rochelle then admitted: "I feel like I'm at home coz I feel like this is what I'm used to!" before attempting to ask Tom a question but in the end the mum-of-three admitted defeat and said the show had "gone off the rails".

Most This Morning viewers saw the funny said and admitted to spotting a 'class act' among it all. @PollyCracker92 laughed: "Omg they’re having a mare here #ThisMorning." @waseuinton tweeted: "Well this is absolute chaos #ThisMorning Vikings for the win (of chaos is what you’re going for)." @coxyhockeychick wrote: "Rochelle [crying laughing emojis] are the wheels falling off #ThisMorning."

@deanleake02 noted: "These kids are causing carnage #ThisMorning." @CharlieJMUA shared: "Actually howling at this interview. I love Andi Peters too. Rochelle is killing me as a mum as well she’s like “yup this is life” #ThisMorning." @mcnullers added: "These kids are hilarious! Andy is a class act. #ThisMorning."

However, not everyone was as forgiving. @Therasa78 tweeted: "Screaming kids & now a screaming Josie! Not the best start to a Monday I must say #thismorning." @calico_gifts said: "God, this isnt going to plan, is it?! #thismorning." @Lou06302480 pleaded: "Turn the kids mics off FFS #thismorning." @SophiePetkar added: "Having to switch off from #ThisMorning today coz I can’t tolerate the screaming from these #Viking kids. It’s too hot for this nonsense… @thismorning."
