ITV This Morning fans concerned as Phillip Schofield missing from show again

Phillip Schofield was missing from This Morning for a second day today.

The ITV host normally joins Holly Willoughby from 10am each weekday as they entertain the nation with a whole host of guests including celebrities and experts. But today and yesterday Holly has been joined by former Big Brother star Alison Hammond instead.

Appearing on This Morning alongside Holly on Monday, Alison said: "It's so good to be here, it's lovely. It's nice actually, start of the week and you are here," to which Holly replied: "It's lovely having you here."

While the presenters haven't given a reason as to why Phil is off, they did confirm that he would be away for the remainder of the week. Holly said: "Phillip is having the week off so all the adults have left the building and Alison has come!"

Fans on Twitter have become concerned, with some worried Phillip may be unwell. One user said: "#ThisMorning we miss you Phil where are you ? Can anyone explain?" Another said: "#ThisMorning where’s our Phil?"

Debbie said: "I wonder where Phil is. #ThisMorning." A fourth added: "Is #ThisMorning Phil sick? Why is he off?"
